Le Tour de Couch Potato® (LTdCP) has experienced impressive growth over its 12 year existence. Along with the participation, our admin support needs have also grown. The time & financial costs to run Le Tour (this website, the mileage intake process, daily communications) are being met under our current model (using free software & manual processes).

We want to better automate the mileage entry process while still allowing for user flexibility – so we need help in a few key areas, primarily technical & financial. Read more details below and reach out if you are willing and able to join the Potato Movement.

Lead Potatoes

In the ever-growing world of virtual sporting events, we are the lead potatoes. The organizers of Le Tour de Couch Potato® created this successful event more than 10 years ago and have it running like a well-oiled machine. Our goal has always been to introduce non-cyclists to the joys of biking – often re-introducing adults to an activity they haven’t tried since childhood – in a supportive community with light touch of a “challenge” component.

Free and Easy

One of the most difficult parts of any challenge is getting started. We’ve taken some of that pressure off and made it super easy to join: it is free and only takes the push of one button to sign up. Each Couch Potato that completes 100 miles can elect to purchase a custom “I DID IT” magnet to tout their accomplishment ($3 cost).

All sponsor names and logos will be announced on LTdCP’s primary social platform, our Facebook page. In addition, your sponsorship level will include:

Top Tater

For a donation of $500 your organization can be recognized as a Top Tater. Your name & logo will be prominently displayed on this website Home page, Sponsor page and at the bottom of the daily update blogposts. The display will cover the period of the event and continue for 11 months following the event (until the next year Tour begins).

Spud Bud

Your $300 donation will ensure that your organization name & logo will listed along with other Spud Buds on this website Sponsor page and at the bottom or the daily update blogposts. The display will cover the period of the event and continue for 11 months following the event (until the next year Tour begins).
