Six spuds earned their magnets today. They helped to bring our mileage up to 18,297 miles. As of now we have 85 official taters, 70 on the road, and 60 who represent our DUD SPUDS.
Today’s finishers are: Chili Cheese Fries earned a magnet with 102.5 miles while Grape Tater was on her wheel with 102.2 miles. Spudapalloza is also over the finish line with 101.9 miles and Tom Tater finished with 100.25 miles. Spuddy Holly and Nashed Potato both wrapped up another magnet with exactly 100.0 miles. Pedaling by the numbers: In this last week, we’ll focus on those on the road – and watch these numbers shrink as magnets are earned. Check out the stats (link below) to see all the specifics. For those off the couch and looking for the finish line:
We have 9 in the 90s with 10 miles or less to go.
The 80s show us an additional 15 taters, looking to finish in the next couple of days – a big group here and one to watch!
With between 20 and 30 miles to go, we have 11 spuds in the 70s.
With a couple good rides our 4 potatoes in the 60s will be done.
There are 11 spuds in the 50s – you did half of it so far, let’s do this!
The 5 potatoes in the 40s have a few longer rides in front of them but again, totally doable.
The group in the 30s has 5 pedaling to the finish. We find Duchess Potato here – is her perfect record in jeopardy?
The 10 potatoes who are off the couch but less than 30 miles will be looking for a couple long rides over the weekend to earn their magnet. Let’s cheer all these pedaling potatoes on to the finish line.
Here’s what y’all had to say about your rides:
Fry Alicia-Back home in CO so had to do our favorite ride to see the and then drink the
Yam Kronen-Hot & Humid but no smoke…yay! The farmers irrigation never felt so good!
Chip-n-Dale-Castle Valley Peak Performance Test Ride.
Grape Tater-And with that, I can now retire my bike for another year.
Chilli Cheese Fries-Crossed the 100 mark! Now I can go on vacation!
Nashed Potato-I got so many flats last week that I had to finish with a borrowed bike from a friend, but it was still a lovely ride!
