Day 9 is in the books and check out all the taters in the pic. Our total official taters has grown to 21. We also have most 9500 miles pedaled and 10 more spuds are off the couch.
Making it official today are: Almighty Spud and Drunk Spud – both finishing with 146 miles. Spud Cool is done with 104.6 miles and Sinful Spud is right behind with 102.7 miles. Finishing together are Golly D Tater and Christmas Potato with 100.9 miles. Woo hoo! Nice job all of you. Tomorrow is a rest day for the boys in France but we’ll keep pedaling. Maybe over the 10,000 mile threshold tomorrow? As we continue to get taters off the couch, if you know one still hanging out there, give them a boost.
Pedaling by the numbers today is going to take a look at our spuds hanging in the 80 mile range. They should finish up this week. Eight potatoes are in the 80 range. Uetz Chips is getting close with 88.3 miles. Oh-Kay Tuber had pedaled 87.0 miles. Yam Kronen is checking in with 86.6 miles while Miller Lite Spud is at 85 miles. Fry Like an Eagle is close to done with 83.8 miles. Hash Slinger is sitting at 82.2 miles. Wrapping up this group are Spudding Genius and Curried Potatoes with 81.8 and 80.3 miles, respectively. Let’s see who finishes first!

Spud Cool-What a way to finish 100 miles! Spud Cool rode/swam the Pedal and Paddle! Where she rode to 21 pools, swam a lap at each for 1500 yards swimming and cycled 34.1 miles. Where’s this spud’s nap?

Seafaring Spud-Spuds Unite. We are on Kiawah Island with Wolfpack Potato, Fry like an Eagle, O Kay Tuber and an unregistered mystery rider. Beautiful early morning ride before it got up into the 90s! Lots of wildlife including deer, egrets, and even alligators. It’s good to finally be off the couch.
