Day 2: Kicked it into High Gear

Day 2 brings us over 1500 miles and three of our potatoes over half way.

The 2026 Le Tour de Couch Potato is off to a hot start with 79 potatoes already on the road. Our goal is 30,000 miles – same as other years and we have yet to make it. Will this be the year? Note: See Reminder Below!

Castro Tato-Trails were LIT! this morning after last night’s rain

Russett Rhodes-We spotted a beautiful field of sunflowers along our route, just like the ones we see during the Tour de France.

Raul-tato-Experiencing our first rides in Montana, and after taking yesterday off for Independence day celebrations, we went to the Missouri Headwaters Park. The rails to trails connection to the park and the town of Three Forks really got us into the explorer mode!
